So, I decided that I would start a blog of videos of the kids for our family members that do not live in AZ.
So this is a shout out to Grandma Barb, Grandpa Jim, Grandma Bonnie, Uncle Patrick, Aunt April, Great Aunt Pauline, Great Aunt Sue, and any one else I may of forgotten.
These past couple of weeks have been insane. Work is stressing me out. This is the time of year that the quotes just keep on coming no matter how fast you work there is always more to do.
The past couple of weekends have included painting at the new karate school and going out to pick up Halloween costumes. Both were fun but one was not a tiring are the other. I will let you guess which one, it wan't the painting. :)
I will try to take some pics this weekend of the open house at the karate school.
On the first Saturday of the month home depot does a kids build workshop. The kids have built all sorts of things likes: bird feeders, race car, pencil holder, and at saturdays built it was a house in honor of the 75th anniversary of the wizard of oz. The kids had a great time, they got to built and then paint. It also came with stickers. Joshua put his on at home, I don't think the other two did. We had a good time. It is nice for then to learn these skills.
Three day weekends are always crazy. How do you keep three 8 yr olds happy over a long weekend?
Wear them out.
Friday was karate. James and Joshua moved up a belt, they are both green belts. Elizabeth will get hers next week.
Saturday we decided to take them to wet and wild. It is a water park out here. You would think living in AZ they would be everywhere but not realy. Sober spent most of the Dayton Sat. there. We all had a blast, I went on a lot of the rides that I missed on other days.
Sunday was a trip over to their Gruncle Dean house for some more swimming. Their grandma was house sitting fore the weekend and he has a diving boars so we dropped by.
Today was a trip to the bowling alley. Found a coupon and it got us out of the house. We had a good time, need to work on fork by in time.
I am going to try and get back into this blog thing. I am going to make a goal at least once a week putting down on "paper" what is going on. Also include some pictures.
Spell and grammar are not going to be perfect, this is just so I can have a running record of the years that are flying by.
So this school year has started and the kids seem to be way happy with their teachers and classes.
Even the simple task of doing laundry become something funny to record. The kids like to look at the machine's agitator and then try to copy the action. Here is a little video of them doing so. Sorry for the quality, the hallway was not lit well enough.
Glendale, AZ put on this Touch a truck event every year. The kids get to touch and climb in all kinds of different vehicles. (Big Riggs, Hummers, Fire Trucks, Weinnermobile, Buses)
